I have written several previous posts on the quality of handbags. I recently purchased a coin purse and cosmetic bag from HOBO. The smell of fresh leather and good hardware, was used in crafting these itmes. I worked at Dillard’s in 2003, a retail department store chain here in the south. There I purchased a pink leather HOBO clutch bag. That was over 21 years ago this year. After carefully inspecting the new purchase, they are definitly quality items! HOBO has the same quality and craftsmanship from 21 years ago. This is very rare! Most brands very seldom contiue the same quality for those many years later. And not to add keep their prices affordable! In todays economy we are paying more and getting LESS, it is a fact. But I must say that is not the case with the HOBO brand. Here are few more brands that have remained consistant in using quality components with their bags and wallets…Frye, Free People, Coach, Dooney & Burke, Brahmin, Tory Burch. Pictured is the pink clutch from over 21years ago, the natural cosmetics bag, and the seaglass coin purse. I must say that I am very pleased with this purchase. The next time you are shopping for a great handbag, wallet, or overnight bag, don’t think because the bag has a higher price that you are getting quality.
