It’s 2020…so what’s really trending in the world of FASHION? Fashion is always moving forward and trends are constantly changing. Spring trends are ruling, such as bright shades of neon, cool crochet, and bold prints (polka dot and geometric). I’m always excited to see what fashion has to offer for the Spring season, but I do plan to enjoy my trench coats, boots, and sweaters a little while longer. I love being in the KNOW about the latest trends; the best way to keep your eye for fashion is to build your wardrobe around staple pieces. These items are the same as investment pieces; and they are items in your wardrobe that will remain in style with the current trends and pair very well with other things. These items can be but are not limited to:
1.) Handbags…can be any style…(hobo, clutch, satchel) etc. Example straw bags are staple & leather bags too
2.) Shoes…Boots,pumps,loafers…Riding boots and patent leather pumps are staple
3.) Blazers…leather, wool, or blend…leather and wool are staple
4.) Blouses…any color or print blouse…white is staple
5.) Pants…Jeans and trousers; skinny, wide-leg, or flare, and high waist are staple
Those were just a few of many examples of staple pieces. I enjoy thumbing through InStyle, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar and seeing what’s trending!
